Hello my loves!
If you’re here, chances are you have just started your self care journey. Welcome! It is great to have you here and I am sure you’ll love it.
Especially for people who are just starting, I think things can get confusing and overwheming. That’s why I made you a ‘self care for beginners checklist’, to make things a little easier and manageable.
This self care checklist contains some of the things I consider to be most important for self care.
Sure, it’s nice to take bubble baths with $7 bath bombs and dream about being a mermaid. And while that is part of taking care of yourself, there is so much more.
So what is on this self care checklist?
Some of the things on these list may be a no brainer to you. For others, they are a good reminder.
Not all of these things have to be done daily, such as cleaning the house or washing your hair. Others, like drinking water and talking to another human, I strongly recommend doing every day.
I’ve also left a couple of open spots at the bottom, in case you want to add some habits or other self care ideas you want to keep track of.
One thing I put there that isn’t very common is ‘did an adulting thing’. While this is very open to interpretation, for me it’s doing things like: grocery shopping, calling to set up an appointment, paying the bills, cleaning the fridge and other life admin things like this, that we tend to avoid.
So without further ado, here is the self care for beginners checklist!
I made them super affordable so it’s easy for you to download your preferred tracker. They come with a pre-filled lay-out that has some extra lines, or a completely blank one so you can fill out your preferred habits yourself.
